On Tuesday (5/12), a suicide bomb attack claimed by an ISIS group exploded at a funeral for a police officer in eastern Nangarhar province. The bomb killed at least 24 people and injured 68 people.
The same day, there was an explosion at a hospital in Kabul that killed at least 14 people, including babies and nurses. No one has claimed responsibility for the incident.
However, Ghani accused the Taliban and ISIS groups who became the culprits.
“Today we are witnessing acts of terror by the Taliban and Daesh groups in Kabul and the massacre in Nangarhar and other attacks in the country,” said Ghani.
For information, in February, the United States and the Taliban agreed to reduce years of violence in Afghanistan.
