JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – The Ministry of Health will send a short message or SMS to each citizen to vaccinate Covid-19.

Informed by Kontan, based on the Decree of the Minister of Health Number HK.01.07 / Menkes / 12757/2020, the sending of short messages will start on Thursday (12/31/2020).

The decree regulates the targeting of Covid-19 vaccination that was signed by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin, on Monday (12/28/2020).

“The implementation of the Covid-19 vaccine begins with the sending of a notification through short message service (SMS) explosion on December 31, 2020, “says the regulation.

In the regulation, it is explained that the objective for the implementation of the Covid-19 vaccination is a priority group of people who receive vaccines in accordance with the legal provisions.

People who receive notification by SMS must participate in the Covid-19 vaccination.

Meanwhile, through a regulation signed by the Minister of Health, Terawan Agus Putranto, and in force since December 14, 2020, there are regulations regarding the list of Indonesian citizens who will be vaccinated.

Vaccine recipient criteria

An article states that the criteria for receiving the Covid-19 vaccine in Indonesia are established based on the study of the National Technical Advisory Group on Immunization and / or Strategic Advisory Group of Experts on Immunization of the World Health Organization (SAGE WHO).

In addition, it was also stated that the priority for the first recipients of the vaccine were health workers, auxiliary health workers, support personnel working in health facilities, the Indonesian National Army, the Police Indonesian national, legal officials and other public service officials.

After that, there are also community / religious leaders, strategic economic actors, sub-district officials, town officials, and ward / ward units.

For the next priority are teachers / educators of early childhood / kindergarten, elementary, middle school, high school or equivalent and colleges; ministerial / institutional apparatus, organizational apparatus of the regional government apparatus and legislative members.

Another priority is vulnerable communities from the geospatial, social, economic and community aspects of other economic actors.
