KOMPAS.com – Some BPJS Kesehatan participants starting today, Sunday (11/1/2020), are asked to re-register.

The Head of Public Relations of BPJS Kesehatan, M. Iqbal Anas Ma’ruf, explained that the JKN-KIS participants who need to re-register are participants from the segments of Workers Receiving Official State Wages (PPU PN) and Non-Workers (BP ).

According to him, it is necessary to re-register because some participant data is not completed with NIK.

“The number (which must be re-registered) is not much. If you can show e-KTP for to update, immediately active at that time, “Iqbal told Kompas.com, Saturday (10/31/2020).

If the BPJS Kesehatan participant does not re-register, the card will be temporarily deactivated.

“The card cannot be used for a while. KK / KTP needs to be updated,” Iqbal said.

The re-enrollment of some of these participants is a program of BPJS Kesehatan, namely the Re-Enrollment Program (GILANG).

This program was carried out to follow up on the KPK recommendations, the results of the BPKP audit for fiscal year 2018, and the results of the meetings with ministries / agencies.

BPJS Kesehatan provides the public with the opportunity to update the data if the KIS card has not been filled in with the Population Identification Number (NIK) data, or has been completed but not in accordance with the KTP, or has not been registered in the Dukcapil of the Ministry of the Interior.

This refers to article 13 paragraph 1 of Law Number 23 of 2006 on Population Administration that all residents must have a NIK.

In addition, referring to Article 8, paragraph 2, of the Presidential Regulation number 82 of 2018 on health insurance, the Healthy Indonesian Card must contain at least the name and identity number of the participants registered in the NIK, except the newly born.
