Several changes were made to the Stamp Tax Law that have not been revised in the last 34 years to provide legal certainty to electronic documents to use electronic seals in accordance with technological advances.
“When it is payable and subject to stamp in detail by type of document and the improvement of the administration of this stamp collected is also expected to provide legal certainty,” he explained.
Ketiga, the government exempts the provisions on the use of the stamp tax for the management of natural disasters and activities of a religious and social nature. This is done to support international agreements.
Fourth, the government prepares administrative and criminal sanctions for failure to pay the stamp duty. Sanctions to minimize and prevent crime in the tax sphere.
