Gridhot.ID – The fire case in the Attorney General’s Office building has now entered a new phase.

Many facts were revealed, especially regarding the witness who was a cleaning service that shocked many parties.

However, the coordinator of the Anti-Corruption Society of Indonesia (MAKI), Boyamin Saiman, admitted that he had never heard the news that the bill for a cleaning service at the Attorney General’s Office (AGO) reached 100 million rupees.

The cleaning service is known to have witnessed the fire case at the Attorney General’s Office some time ago.

“I’ve never heard of him before,” Boyamin said when contacted by Tribunnews on Saturday (9/26/2020).

Boyamin admitted that he could not speak much, because he also did not have proof of this information.

“Sorry, I don’t have any (informational) evidence yet,” Boyamin said.

Earlier, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin said that his party and the police had thoroughly investigated the cleaning service witness regarding the fire at the Attorney General’s Office Building.

In addition, it was reported that he had more than Rp.100 million in his account and could access the sixth floor, which is the place of the fire.

“Any account information, please ask permission.”

“This has been investigated by the Kabareskrim investigators regarding the existence of an account.”

“He said that Rp. 100 million was not in line with his income,” Burhanuddin said during a virtual meeting with Commission III of the DPR in Jakarta on Thursday (9/24/2020).

According to Burhanuddin, the AGO has formed a joint post to uncover the cause of the building fire, which is suspected of negligence.

“If there really is intent or negligence, I hope there is a suspect,” Burhanuddin said.

During the meeting, the member of Commission III of the DPR Arteria Dahlan asked the Attorney General to be careful with the witnesses of the cleaning service who worked on the ground floor, but could reach the sixth floor.

“Please be careful, there is no manipulation of information, the Attorney General must be suspicious.”

“It is suspected that the cleaning service is not just a cleaning service, it can do something.”

“Also check the accounts with cash exceeding Rs 100 crore.”

“Is it true that you are being examined accompanied by your subordinates, the former Deputy Attorney General?”

“It is true that there is a new appearance, the person concerned is bald, if you bald, be careful sir, you want to check the DNA of his hair, which is already shaved,” continued the PDIP politician.

Meanwhile, the Deputy Attorney General for General Crimes of the Attorney General’s Office, Fadil Zumhana, said that his party did provide assistance to witnesses, including cleaning services who could access the sixth floor.

“We accompany (the witness), the cleaning service we assist, so that the interested party provides a clear and honest statement,” said Fadil.

Regarding the money in the account that reached 100 million rupees and could go to the sixth floor, Fadil said it was still under investigation.

“Later we will dismantle it, because yesterday the investigation process was not yet pro justitia.”

“During the investigation process we asked investigators to reveal where the money came from,” he explained.
