The hashtag #BoikotJNE was trending on Twitter since Friday (11/12). Detikcom’s following until the early hours of Saturday (12/12) #BoikotJNE continues to be a trend on Twitter with 14,300 tweets.
This event took place in the middle of JNE’s 30th anniversary, with the theme 30 Happy Years Together. This topic is spread by JNE through its official Twitter account @JNE_ID.
Several tweets linked the boycott call to the posting of a JNE account about congratulations from a religious figure. JNE immediately opened up their voices in response to #BoikotJNE
JNE CEO Mohammad Feriadi, when asked for his comment, sent a photo to detikcom. The point in the image emphasizes that JNE does not take sides for anything that smacks of SARA, also known as ethnicity, religion, race and between groups.
“JNE embraces all groups and does not favor certain religions, ethnicities, races and political opinions”, quoted in a photo published by JNE Boss, (11/12/2020).
Apart from that, JNE also continued to provide maximum service to the community.
“We are committed to continuing to provide the utmost service to all the Indonesian people. Thank you,” read the caption to the image.
