DIY NEWS – Labor Minister Ida Fauziyah confirmed that the beneficiaries of the wage subsidies were only 12.4 million workers from the initial target of 15.7 million workers.
The remaining budget that is not distributed will be returned to the state treasury. This means that there are 3.3 million workers who did not get the BLT wage subsidy.
“We will hand over the remaining budget that was allocated in the budget of the Ministry of Manpower to work with salaries below 5 million rupees. We will hand it over to the state treasurer,” he said at a virtual press conference on Thursday, October 1. 2020.

However, Ida has not confirmed how much the remaining budget will be returned. Because so far the Ministry of Manpower has yet to complete the distribution of the fifth batch.
“From the data, maybe from the target of 15.7 million, the number of accounts that can be collected over 3 weeks is 14.8 million. So what we presented to the Ministry of Manpower was 12.4 million , so we did not present it, that is, we dropped the regulation, to 2.4 million ”, he said.
