Son Heung-min made a special incision when he brought Tottenham Hotspur against Leeds United. Son has scored 100 goals, but he’s a bit sad. Why is that?

Week 17 Premier League, Tottenham Hotspur hosted Leeds on Saturday (2/1/2020) at WIB night. In the first half, Harry Kane’s goal through the penalty spot and Son Heung-min already gave the hosts a 2-0 lead.

In the second half, the Spurs stabilized the victory through Toby Alderweireld. The Spurs closed the game 3-0.

These results place Tottenham Hotspur in third place Premier League standings with 29 points. Four different Liverpool points at the top. Leeds United came in 12th with 23 points.

A goal from Son Heung-min made a special note. The South Korean player has scored 100 goals for Tottenham Hotspur in all competitions.

Son himself has been wearing the Spurs uniform since 2015. He was removed from Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund.

“This game was very difficult. We know how strong (Leeds) are, what a job. It can be a clean sheet, win 3-0. Starting the new year is fantastic,” Son said after the game. BT Sport.

“I am very happy and grateful to my colleagues. I did not achieve this alone. I need a lot of help to achieve this achievement.”

Even so, Son Heung-min looked a bit sad. Because in the game against Leeds United, he was unable to provide assists to his colleague, Harry Kane.

“I’m a little sad that I couldn’t give Harry Kane assists. He always gave me assists,” he said.

“We have continued to work together for the past six years and we understand each other’s movements,” he concluded.
