Marcus Rashford smiled widely after scoring his first hat-trick for Manchester United. The Red Devils certainly hope Rashford can continue like this.

MU continued their strong start to the Champions League when they hosted RB Leipzig at Old Trafford on Thursday (10/29/2020) at the morning WIB. Mason Greenwood opened the MU lead in the first half.

Then in the second half, substitute Rashford scored two goals in the short period of time before Anthony Martial’s penalty made it 4-0. Rashford did not want to stop scoring goals as he burst into the Leipzig net again in injury time.

Rashford was entitled to bring the ball home in that match because he was able to score a hat-trick, which was the first time they had done so in a MU jersey. Rashford can smile because this great achievement shows how important he is to United.

Rashford this season has scored seven goals in nine appearances in all competitions.

“I can’t stop smiling. I’ve been waiting for this for a long time. Just try to have fans so they can celebrate together,” Rashford said through his upload on his Twitter account.

Rashford is the fifth player in Champions League history to score a hat-trick as a substitute, and even Rashford’s hat-trick is the most striking because his three goals came in a 27-minute blitz.

Rashford’s achievement equaled Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s record when he scored a substitute hat-trick against Nottingham Forest in 1999.

“The coach said if he played to increase the pace of the game and of course that means we will totally attack. So there must be a gap there,” Rashford said.

“We can find that gap. It seems like we can score goals every time we attack,” concluded Marcus Rashford.
