JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – Former Democratic Party cadre Ferdinand Hutahaean and social observer Rudi S Kamri were finally reported to Bareskrim Polri by the daughter of the twelfth Vice President Ri Jusuf Kalla, Muswirah Kalla.

Ferdinand and Rudi were denounced referring to article 45 paragraph 3 in conjunction with article 27 paragraph 3 of Law Number 19 of 2016 on Amendments to Law Number 11 of 2008 on Information and Electronic Transactions (UU ITE) and / or article 310 of the Penal Code and / or article 311 of the Penal Code.

The report was leaked to Muswirah because the two were suspected of having tarnished Jusuf Kalla’s good name through their taunts on Twitter. The taunts that were deemed to tarnish Kalla’s good name were initially charged by Ferdinand.

“The caplin is also great, bring the money for a suitcase to Arabia, pay for this everything is done. The political agenda for 2022 to 2024 has heated up early. It seems that the president will be very busy with the commotion of the engineering caplin by the good of his golden son, the owner of a crazy bus, “the tweet reads. Ferdinand.

According to Muswira, the figure of Chaplin in the tweet was interpreted by the public as Jusuf Kalla.

After Ferdinand uploaded the tweet, Jusuf Kalla’s name was included trending topic from twitter. Most of the tweets that spoke of Kalla at the time linked him to the return of the leader of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Rizieq Shihab.

By multiple accounts twitter, Kalla was accused of being the party behind Rizieq Shihab’s return to Indonesia. Indeed, Kalla is accused of softening and financing Rizieq’s return to soften the footsteps of DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan in the 2024 presidential election.

The indictment was brought against Kalla because just before Rizieq returned home, Kalla was visiting Saudi Arabia.

Even so, the day before, Jusuf Kalla spokesman Husain Abdullah had denied Ferdinand’s taunting.

Husain said that Kalla’s visit to Saudi Arabia was to witness the signing of a cooperation agreement for the construction of the SAW Museum of the Prophet Muhammad, to be built in Jakarta.

The signing involved the Indonesian Mosque Council represented by Commissioner General Pol (Purn) Syafruddin as Vice President of DMI with Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Mathar as Executive Vice President of the World League.

“After signing this, Mr. JK (Jusuf Kalla) as a Muslim because he is already in Saudi Arabia, he feels bad without doing the Umrah pilgrimage. For the purposes of the Umrah pilgrimage, Mr. JK continued his journey to Mecca to perform Umrah with strict health protocols, ”said Husain.

“I remind the audience buzzer not to contaminate this series of trips with misleading narratives without foundation or evidence. Because Pak JK’s journey was purely for humanity and worship, ”said Husain.

Ferdinand considered the report to the police excessive

Meanwhile, Ferdinand deemed Muswirah Kalla’s report against him excessive for allegedly defaming Kalla on Twitter.

“I don’t know and I feel like I have never attacked his (Muswirah) family or Mr. JK’s family on social media,” Ferdinand said when contacted on Wednesday (02/12/2020).

Ferdinand said Muswirah also did not ask for direct clarification on what he wrote on Twitter, which was seen as defamatory of Kalla.
He also said that Husain had also asked him about the tweet.

“Several times in the media, like on TVOne or RRI, I spoke with Mr. Husain Abdullah, Mr. JK’s spokesperson, he once asked me, ‘What is Mr. JK?

Still, Ferdinand respects the legal measures taken by Muswirah. He said he would follow the legal process and provide clarification if asked by the police.

However, he cautioned that without clear evidence, Muswirah’s report could be classified as a bogus report.

“I certainly have the legal right. I will give clarification if asked and I will give answers to the information to the police. Because when reports like this are tempting without any clear evidence, they can certainly fall into the category of false reports, we will see,” he said Ferdinand. .

Meanwhile, the head of the Public Information Office of the National Police’s Public Relations Division, Brigadier General (Pol) Awi Setiyono, said the report will go through an administrative process first.

“Yes, the police report just came in today, it is still in the administrative process. Of course, when it reaches the investigators, an investigation will be done first,” Awi said.
