PSIS Semarang qualified for the 2021 Menpora Cup quarter-finals. Tickets for the knockout phase were obtained after defeating Arema FC 3-2 in the Group A final.
In Manahan, Solo, Tuesday (3/30/2021), PSIS won thanks to goals from Komarudin (45 + 6 ‘), Pratama Arhan (62’) and Riyan Ardiansyah (89 ‘). Arema was only able to score two goals thanks to the suicide of Fredyan Wahyu (8 ‘) and a penalty from Dedik Setiawan (67’).

Arema opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Dedik Setiawan’s shot from the right hit PSIS defender Fredyan Wahyu and headed towards his own goal without being led by goalkeeper Jandia Eka Putra.
PSIS nearly equalized in the 18th minute. Pratama Arhan was free to take a corner kick, but his header went wide.
