Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – Muhammad Farid Andika, aka MFA, has been named a suspect in the airsoft gun possession case in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta. Not only about the action of the ‘cowboy’, the suspect was also investigated by the police about the incident of the motorcycle accident in that place.
“Yes, we are also investigating while the investigation of the airsoft gun case in Ditkrimum is underway,” said Polda Metro Head of Public Relations Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus on Saturday (3/4/2021), quoted by Detikcom.
The CEO of startup Restock is known to have made a scene earlier due to ‘cowgirl’ action at Jalan Sugiono, Duren Sawit, East Jakarta on Friday (2/4/2021) in the early hours of the morning. At the time, Farid Andika was driving a Fortuner car with police number B-1673-SJV crossing an intersection with a red light.
“Then he collided with a motorcycle driven by a woman. What happened after that, the person in question got out of the car and got angry and pulled out a gun,” Yusri said.
This viral incident made Polda Metro Jaya move and form a team. The Polda Metro Jaya Ditlantas team searched for the vehicle’s address, while the Subdit Jatanras team of the Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya searched for the perpetrator.
The officers then seized the vehicle that Muhammad Farid Andika was driving at the time and confiscated the airsoft gun that was used to maim the residents.
After the incident, the Subdit Jatanras Ditreskrimum Polda Metro Jaya team also arrested Muhammad Farid Andika in the parking lot of a shopping center in Senayan, South Jakarta.
