Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
A Mitsubishi car Pajero target with RI police license plate 1 trying to break inside Police headquarters, South Jakarta, Wednesday (11/25) yesterday.
The head of the Ditlantas Polda Metro Patrol and Escort Unit, Jaya Kompol Argo Wiyono, said that the incident occurred at noon around 12.00 WIB.
“The information of the vehicles that use the RI 1 plate will enter the National Police Headquarters, for which they will be detained by the provincial picket,” Argo said in his statement on Wednesday (11/25).
After being successfully stopped by members of Provos, the car and its owner were transferred to the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police Traffic Unit for further processing.
“That will then be handed over to the Satpamwal picket,” Argo said.
Based on the verification results, it turned out that the car had the original DD577PT license plate. The code for the DD plate itself is known to be used in the South Sulawesi area.
Furthermore, from the examination results, it was also known that the owner of the Pajero car was someone with the initials M.
Argo revealed that the initial information transmitted by the owner of the vehicle was that the interested party broke into the National Police Headquarters to convey his aspirations.
“To convey aspirations on behalf of the organization KPORI (Association of Indonesian People’s Organs), which expressed dissatisfaction with the performance of the government and the President of the Republic of Indonesia,” he said.
Argo explained that the owner of the car with the initials M was further examined by the Subdit Gakkum Ditlantas Polda Metro Jaya to find out the mode of operation.
Furthermore, Argo continued, the white Pajero car was also temporarily stopped by the Gakkum Sub-Directorate.
Because, Argo said the RI number 1 license plate used by the car turned out to be fake. This violates Article 280 in conjunction with Article 68 paragraph 1 of Law Number 22 Year 2009 on Traffic and Road Transportation.
“On the illegal use of TNKB or in accordance with its provisions with the threat of a fine of Rp500 thousand,” said Argo.
