ZONAJAKARTA.COM – Former Indonesian President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY) is said to have cried because he was under pressure from the people.
This is well remembered by the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Mahfud MD, who revealed that SBY had cried during his leadership.
Mahfud MD revealed that SBY cried because he was under pressure from the people regarding the Regional Chiefs Election Act (Pilkada) in 2014.

The reason is that the Pilkada Law became controversial until SBY was accused of destroying democracy.
“At the time, the civil society attacks on the SBY government were extraordinary, (some say) Pak SBY is destroying democracy, all kinds of things,” Mahfud was quoted as saying by RRI’s Zonajakarta.com on Wednesday October 14 2020.
The Pilkada Law regulates the implementation of Pilkada by members of the DPRD or indirectly.
