Jakarta, CNN Indonesia – Government Saudi Arabia will enforce the policy emergency shutdown nationwide during the Eid holiday to prevent spread coronavirus.
The Home Office made the decision on Tuesday (5/12) when the amount of exposure to the virus increased. Arabia is currently the country with the largest Covid-19 case in the Gulf region.

The Health Ministry said the number of Covid-19 deaths rose to 264 from a total of 42,925 cases, while 15,257 people had recovered.
Saudi Arabia had previously halted its Umrah activities for fear of spreading disease in the holy city of Mecca.
Authorities have yet to announce Hajj’s activities this year, which are scheduled for the end of July. However, Muslims in the world are expected to temporarily delay pilgrimage preparation.
Last year, at least 2.5 million Muslims visited Arabia to lead the fifth pillar of Islam.
