Febri Diansyah re-enters the office in Jalan Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta. However, that day was the last day that Febri entered the red and white building as a KPK employee.
“Yes, this Friday is my last working day at the KPK,” Febri told reporters on Friday (10/16/2020).
In fact, Febri has officially submitted his resignation on September 18, 2020. However, Febri still has the discharge so that his KPK employee status is officially withdrawn on October 18, 2020.
At that time, Febri decided to resign because he considered that the political and legal conditions of the KPK had changed. Febri also decided to leave the KPK, but not with the intention of eradicating corruption.
“The political and legal conditions have changed for the KPK. After going through this new situation for about eleven months, I decided on this path, choosing to present my resignation from the institution that I really love, the KPK,” reads the resignation letter obtained by Febri Diansyah. detikcom in September 2020 at that time.
Now Febri is living his last day at the KPK. He admitted that he had fulfilled a series of obligations.
“In the last days I have fulfilled several obligations such as: reporting the LHKPN at the end of the position, working meetings until the third quarter of 2020 and returning books from the library. Several other obligations are being resolved today, ”Febri said.
However, on Febri’s last day of work, the KPK was hit by a problem related to the budget of official cars for the leaders and structural officials of the KPK. In fact, Febri last served as Head of the Public Relations Office of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), which was echelon II, for which he also obtained the official car for this position.
Febri also revealed that there was a joke behind his decision to resign with the news about the official car budget for the position. What is the history?
“Regarding the official cars for the KPK officials, I also read various reports. There were also friends who joked and said, ‘Aren’t you sorry to leave the KPK, February? Because next year the KPK officials, including the Head of Will the Office get official cars? “said Febri.
So what is Febri’s response?
“I just smile to answer this. My hope is simple, I hope the public will love KPK again because of the work that really eradicates corruption and benefits the community. There are still many friends of KPK employees who have good intentions and they are steadfast in their efforts to eradicate corruption. Hopefully they will be given physical and mental strength, “said Febri.
On the other hand, the head of the KPK Employees Council, Yudi Purnomo Harahap, expressed his gratitude to Febri on his last day. He hopes that Febri can achieve his dreams elsewhere.
“We are grateful for Febri Diansyah’s dedication during his time at the KPK. We hope that Febri Diansyah will always succeed in his new place to continue to realize Indonesia’s ideals of being free from corruption,” said Yudi Purnomo.
