SUMEDANG, NOTIF .ID – Sumedang Police have named four suspects in the murder of Karta Gunawan, a man from Cileunyi, Bandung Regency who died in Cimanggung, Sumedang.
When death was snatched, Karta was raising funds for the victims of the Cimanggung landslide.
The four suspects are AR alias Tile, DS alias Komeng, N Alias Ute and W alias Black. However, for suspect W, he is still being hunted by the police so far and has been designated as a wanted list (DPO).
“I say that suspect W alias Black will surrender immediately,” Sumedang Police Chief AKBP Eko Prasetyo Robbyanto said during his case at Sumedang Police Headquarters on Tuesday, January 19, 2021.
If W does not surrender immediately, the Police will act decisively. In addition, the police have pocketed his identity and residential address.
“The last address is Gang Kujang, Kujangsari Village, Bandung Kidul District, Bandung City and he’s 25 years old,” said the police chief.
Suspect W alias Black, Eko said, was the perpetrator who caused the victim’s death after stabbing the victim in Jalan Raya Cimanggung, Dusun Manabaya, RT 4/7, Sindangpakuwon Village, Cimanggung District.
The stabbing was carried out by W on Friday, January 15, 2021.
“Suspect W aka Black stabbed the victim’s left chest with a knife, causing the victim’s death,” he said.
Suspect AR, Eko said, hit the victim in the head with an airsoft pistol 3 times, DS and N hit the victim once.
“The three suspects are already languishing in the detention room of the Sumedang police headquarters,” he said.
The incident started when a motorcycle gang raised funds for the victims of landslides on the road, to be precise around the Cimanggung market.
“Then through another group of motorcycle gangs and it was not understood that there was a friction against them,” he said, mentioning a commotion between the gangs. (kia / mrb)
