DEPOK, KOMPAS.com – The famous teacher Dedeh Rosidah or who is familiarly called Mamah Dedeh, is positive for Covid-19.
The news was relayed by Susanto, President of RW 11 Depok Jaya, Pancoran Mas, Depok, West Java, where Mama Dedeh lives.
“I first received the information from his brother, that Mamah (Dedeh) is positive and is being treated in a hospital in Jakarta,” Susanto told reporters on Wednesday (11/18/2020).

“Not long ago, Mamah Dedeh ngebel (call me), Friday (11/13/2020). Mamah said, ‘Mamah is positive, now Mamah is being treated, don’t worry,’ “she said.
Susanto reported that Mamah Dedeh is in a mild symptomatic condition and is feeling unwell.
After learning that Mamah Dedeh was sure about Covid-19, Susanto immediately reported to the Depok City Covid-19 Management Working Group.
“Mom’s house is empty. On Friday I also asked the Brimob team to spray (disinfect), yes, spray it on Monday, ”said Susanto.

“The fact is that they have treated and handled him. Now he is improving and mom asks for your prayers so that he can preach again,” he concluded.
Earlier, comedian Abdel Achrian confirmed the news that Mamah Dedeh was positively infected with the corona virus that causes Covid-19 infection.
However, according to Abdel, Mamah Dedeh’s condition has recovered and she is allowed to return home.
“Yes Mamah is positive for Covid (but) she has recovered and is now allowed to go home, may I joke,” Abdel said when contacted by the media team, on Wednesday (11/17/2020).
Besides Abdel, Mamah Dedeh’s son has also provided the latest news from his mother.

“Alhamdulillah, Mamah is in good condition, please pray,” Mamah Dedeh’s son said in a video on YouTube channel Selebrita Siang Trans7.
The family fully supports Mamah Dedeh amid the pandemic.
“Yes, you want to be sick whatever it is, have a cold, cough, everything goes back to Allah, yes. But we will definitely do our best for Mamah,” said Mamah Dedeh’s son.
Not just Mamah Dedeh, her domestic helpers are also exposed to Corona Covid-19.
After Mamah Dedeh was treated, the domestic helper’s health status reportedly began to deteriorate.
