Liverpool manager Juergen Klopp shakes hands with Diogo Jota in the Champions League Group D match against Midtjylland at Anfield Stadium on Tuesday (10/27/2020).

BOLASPORT.COM – Juergen Klopp admits that he will never bother to think about choosing between Roberto Firmino or Diogo Jota as a starter in Liverpool games.

Diogo Jota impressed after scoring a hat trick when Liverpool beat Atalanta 5-0 at Gewiss Stadium, on matchday three of Champions League Group D, on Tuesday (03/11/2020) or Wednesday morning WIB.

The 3 goals made Jota into Liverpool’s record book.

Jota is listed as the fifth Liverpool player to successfully score a hat-trick in the Champions League era.

Now the Portuguese forward has scored a total of 7 goals for Liverpool in 10 appearances.

Without a doubt, this condition makes Diogo Jota promote himself to replace Roberto Firmino as Liverpool’s main player.

Jota’s goal (7) has surpassed Firmino’s (5) for 2020.

Former Liverpool player who is now an expert Peter Crouch admitted that he would be concerned if he became Roberto Firmino at this point.

“Jota did a fantastic job on several occasions. He looks very elegant,” Coruch told BolaSport.com from the Liverpool Echo.
