Several sections of road in Jakarta are still closed due to the demonstration of rejection Omnibus Copyright Law.

Several roads were completely closed, namely the access to the Presidential Palace, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Central Jakarta. Starting with the horse statue, Jalan Medan Merdeka Utara, Jalan Medan Merdeka Barat, Jalan Medan Merdeka Timur, and Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan.

Later, the section of Tharim Road was also closed. The Transjakarta Bundaran HI stop in the area also caught fire.

Meanwhile, the roads around the DPR building remain closed. Although there were no crowds, the roads were closed in anticipation of demonstrations.

Several sections that were closed were Jalan Gatot Subroto from Semanggi to Slipi. So, Jalan Gatot Subroto from the direction to Jalan Gerbang Pemuda is still closed.

The massive action against the Omnibus Act of the Ciptaker Act itself has begun to move since Thursday morning. The plan was for the masses made up of workers and students to perform in front of the State Palace.

Police officers began firing tear gas to bring order to the crowd.

This action is known to be the tail of the rejection of the ratification of the UU Ciptaker Omnibus Act by the House of Representatives on October 5.

The action to reject the omnibus law of the Ciptaker Law that was passed on October 5, 2020, broke out in several regions of Indonesia since two days ago. Previously, in the first two days the police managed to block the mass of the demonstration against the Ciptaker Law in Jakarta.
