According to him, in one of his lectures even Rizieq emphasized that ISIS is dangerous because it feels more correct in itself. Aziz said that Rizieq also sympathized with conditions in several Islamic countries that had been dissolved due to the existence of ISIS.
He claimed that at the time Rizieq said that the wars in various Islamic countries in the Middle East were caused because ISIS felt more Islamic. They consider everyone outside of them to be infidels, apostates, and may be killed.
“Habib Rizieq firmly asserts that all such narrow views are haram,” he said.
According to him, Rizieq even banned the FPI santri and laskar from fighting in Iraq and Syria because the enemies there were unclear.
Not only that, Aziz also cited Rizieq’s statement saying that ISIS was the enemy of the FPI. According to him, Rizieq never supported ISIS actions.
He reported that Rizieq stated that his party cared more for the Palestinian people. However, the FPI does not support the ISIS fight in Syria and Iraq.
“Because there was a war between fellow Muslims only because of different schools of thought. There was no caliph who destroyed Muslims only because of different schools of thought,” Aziz said, imitating Rizieq’s words.

The video shows Rizieq’s speech discussing the existence of the ISIS organization. Rizieq said the FPI supports the good things about ISIS, such as the aspiration to uphold Islamic law, uphold the caliphate and fight the tyranny of the United States.
