A crowd around the Arjuna Wiwaha horse statue in central Jakarta started a riot by throwing stones and firecrackers at police. The police responded by firing tear gas.

This situation occurred after the crowd of protesters from PA 212 dispersed around 3:40 p.m. WIB.

The police then fired tear gas at the mass at Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan or around the statue of the horse Arjuna Wiwaha. The mass did not dissolve.

The crowd had time to shake the barbed wire installed at the site. However, the cable was not damaged and remained connected.

The crowd also fired firecrackers at the police and at the Monas. The firecrackers seen lit some people.

The police then fired tear gas to repel the crowd of teenagers. The effect of the tear gas caused the masses to retreat towards the horse statue.
