Especially when Habib Rizieq arrived in Indonesia, which caused a crowd at Soekarno-Hatta airport and on his arrival in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java some time ago.

Although he did not convey his message directly to Habib Rizieq, the governor, who is familiarly called Kang Emil, hopes that Habib Rizieq can understand the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic, which he believes is not easy.

“I sent a message to Habib Rizieq through other habits, so that I can understand the situation (the Covid-19 pandemic) that it is not easy,” said Kang Emil at the Savoy Homann Hotel, Bandung City, on Tuesday (11/17 / 2020).

Kang Emil revealed, in his message, that he asked Habib Rizieq to comply with the health protocols in each activity amid the implementation of new habitual adaptations (AKB), one of which is through the use of information technology. .

“Use technology like (the Zoom app) like we use when we have to greet large numbers (of the masses), but follow health protocols,” he said.

According to him, the implementation of AKB through the use of information technology should really be considered. Therefore, all parties can remain productive and there is no ban on activities that are performed due to the crowd.

“Basically, we want to remain productive even if we face Covid-19. The way to adapt to old crowded habits is to remain productive, there are programs, but they use technology, they use new methods, like watching together in the car, concerts in cars, right? ”he explained.

He also called on all parties, especially influential figures in this country, to be able to control themselves in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic situation.

“Because when the fans or the group get together, it’s harder to control,” he said.

Also, Kang Emil said, the definition of assertiveness in crowd control efforts is not as simple as you might imagine. The reason is that this has the risk of provoking clashes with destructive actions.

“The assertiveness of confronting the great mass of people often occurs in confrontations, as is the case with the Omnibus Law demonstrations that ended in a destructive way,” he said.

That reason is also what he believes to be one of the considerations for the West Java Regional Police to use humanistic methods in handling various activities in West Java, especially those that have the potential to cause crowds during the Covid pandemic. 19.

“So maybe there are humanistic considerations made by the West Java Police in taking the lead,” he said.
