BOLASPORT.COM – Petronas Yamaha SRT rider Franco Morbidelli managed to become the fastest in the 3 free practice sessions of MotoGP Valencia 2020.

Franco Morbidelli showed above-average speed in the third free practice (free practice 3 / FP3) of the Valencia MotoGP at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Spain, on Saturday (11/14/2020).

Franco Morbidelli posted the fastest lap time of 1 minute 30.168 seconds and was 0.46 seconds ahead of Pol Espargaró (Red Bull KTM) in second place.

The best results were also recorded by Joan Mir (Suzuki Ecstar), who struggled to break into the top 10 combined.

Mir finished the MotoGP Valencia 2020 FP3 session in fifth, or seventh, in the combined results, so he is entitled to qualify directly for classification 2.

Mir’s chances of securing the title expanded after rivals Fabio Quartararo (Petronas Yamaha SRT) and Alex Rins (Suzuki Ecstar) posted poor results.

Quartararo and Rins are eliminated from the top 10 in the combined result.

They have to go from qualifying 1 with opponents that cannot be taken lightly like Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati) to Valentino Rossi (Monster Energy Yamaha).
