Ducati controls the top two positions in the 2021 Qatar MotoGP free practice. Jack Miller is the fastest followed by Francesco Bagnaia.
In the free practice session held at the Losail circuit, Qatar, on Saturday (3/27/2021) at the morning WIB, Fabio Quartararo was in control at the start, at least for 12 minutes remaining. He surpassed Aleix Espargaró.
However, Ducati started barking in less than 10 minutes when Bagnaia took the lead followed by Quartararo, Aleix, Maverick Vinales, Franco Morbidelli, Alex Rins, Johann Zarco, Pol Espargaró and Miller.
Towards the end of the session, Miller then came into the lead position and traded Bagnaia to second place. Joan Mir tried to get into the top 10 in this second session, but he always failed.
Quartararo tried to break the dominance of the two Ducati but finished in third place. Miller became the fastest runner with 1 minute 53.387 seconds, 0.035 seconds ahead of Bagnaia.
Rounding out the top five are Zarco and Rins. Viñales, Morbidelli, Aleix, Rossi and Pol went from sixth to tenth, respectively. Rins had to settle for completing this second session in 12th position.
