KOMPAS.com – Session free practice or they have just finished the first free practice (FP1) of MotoGP Portugal 2020.
The FP1 MotoGP Portugal, which lasted for 70 minutes, was held at the Algarve International Circuit, Portimao, on Friday (11/20/2020) WIB afternoon.
Red Bull KTM Tech 3 rider Miguel Oliveira managed to become the fastest in FP1 MotoGP Portugal 2020 with the best record time of 1 minute 40.122 seconds.
Behind Oliveira are Maverick Vinales in second place and Aleix Espargaró in third. Meanwhile, 2020 MotoGP world champion Joan Mir scattered in seventh position.

The FP1 MotoGP Portugal 2020 route
The host pilot, Miguel Oliveira, appeared fast at the start of the FP1 session. The Red Bull KTM Tech 3 rider managed to record a time of 1 minute 42.407 seconds and took first place.
The first position was occupied by Alex Rins, who clocked 1 minute 41.901 seconds. However, Oliveira managed to sharpen his time to 1 minute 41,703 seconds and return to first place.
Jack Miller, who last week was involved in a fierce duel with Franco Morbidelli at the Valencia MotoGP, managed to place himself in the first position after registering a time of 1 minute 41, 584 seconds. Miller traded Oliveira, who fell to second place.
After several riders entered the pits, Maverick Vinales started with a record time of 1 minute 41.427 seconds. Viñales also climbed to first place, ahead of Miller and Oliveira.
The up and down roller coaster track plus the fast turns of the Algarve International Circuit seems to present its own challenges for MotoGP riders.

With 32 minutes remaining in the FP1 session, Oliveira returned to first position after improving his time record to 1 minute 41,258 seconds.
However, shortly after, the first position was taken by Repsol Honda rider Stefan Bradl. Marc Márquez’s substitute rider successfully recorded a time of 1 minute 41.235 seconds.
The competition for the first position is even more exciting in the last 20 minutes of the FP1 MotoGP Portugal 2020 session.
Fabio Quartararo showed his strength with a record time of 1 minute 40.877 seconds to win first place. Quartararo traded Stefan Bradl, who fell to second place, while Franco Morbidelli was third.
As for Valentino Rossi, who will face a farewell race with Monster Energy Yamaha in the Portuguese MotoGP, he remains scattered in last position. Rossi was 19th before entering the pits with 13 minutes remaining for FP1.

Five minutes into the Portuguese FP1 of MotoGP, Fabio Quartararo remains in first position, followed by Stefan Bradl in second place and Alex Rins in third.
Andrea Dovizioso then penetrated into third place, displacing Alex Rins, who had to drop to fourth place. Maverick Vinales then bluffed to take first place with a time of 1 minute 40.162 seconds.
On the last fast lap, Lorenzo Savadori surprised by getting into second place. However, the position can be changed by Aleix Espargaró.
