Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Restock.id announced that it now has a new chief executive officer (CEO) after the previous performance tangled in the ‘street cowboy’ case in Polda Metro Jaya this weekend.
Restock.id’s head of sales, Rega Sardjono, said that, for the time being, the startup had appointed Tiar Nabilla Karbala as CEO. Meanwhile, the previous official, he said, had resigned.
“For a while we have appointed Tiar Nabilla Karbala as CEO of Restock.id. God willing, we will help start up which is phenomenal with considerable investment value than ever before. We invite the public to be objective and calm when responding to existing problems, “Rega said in his official statement, Jakarta, on Saturday (3/4).
The MFA was previously named a suspect in connection with the possession of firearms, after the video of pointing a gun at a road user went viral on social media.
In that statement, Rega explained that Restock.id is peer-to-peer lending platform which provides financing to MSMEs and collaborates with technology providers and warehousing centers throughout Indonesia. The funds, he continued, come from financiers who invest their funds through platform Restock.id.
Rega said that to carry out the transformation and acceleration, his party prepared several strategies to help more and more financing to MSMEs.
“In fact, we are preparing Restock.id for the next stage by providing even greater funds to potential MSMEs that are willing to cooperate with us,” he said.
The MFA is known to have previously pointed a gun after reprimanding a motorcyclist at the Colonel Sugiono intersection in East Jakarta.
He previously elbowed a woman on a motorcycle. Some residents who saw the incident helped the motorcyclists.
Not only that, the residents who were eyewitnesses also tried to stop the car driven by the MFA. However, the car drove away and left the victim.
The incident was recorded on video and circulated on social media. After being located, the police arrested MFA in the parking lot of a shopping center in the South Jakarta area.
