TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The former TNI commander, Moeldoko, responded to the statement of the president of the Superior Council of the Democratic Party, Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (SBY), who identified himself as one of the actors in the takeover of the party that bears the symbol of the mercy.

According to Moeldoko, he had not known about the development of the Democratic Party in recent weeks because he was busy caring for his youngest daughter’s marriage for the past four weeks.

“So I don’t understand internal developments like that. I think it’s finished. I’m silent, so don’t push me. And I want to remind everyone, yes, because I can quite possibly do what is it? Steps that I believe in.” Moeldoko said, Thursday, February 25, 2021.

“I said that I did not know the situation. I ordered it like that, because I have the right to what I believe,” Moeldoko said without giving further explanation to his statement.

Yesterday, SBY again touched the movement to assume the leadership of the Party, which according to him, involved Moeldoko.

However, SBY believes that President Jokowi is unaware of the actions of his men. “Personally, I firmly believe that what Moeldoko did was beyond the knowledge of President Jokowi,” Yudhoyono said in the video he sent to members of the Democratic Party board on Wednesday, February 24, 2021.

The Democrat, SBY said, found what Moeldoko had done was very disturbing and damaged the president’s good name.
