YAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) asked potential passengers of the planes to arrive early 3-4 hours before departure.
This is in line with the fulfillment of the conditions that must be fulfilled, which are listed in Circular Letter (SE) No. 4/2020 regarding the Criteria to restrict the travel of people in order to accelerate the handling of issued COVID-19 by the COVID-19 Management Acceleration Working Group.
“This new procedure is carried out strictly with detailed stages, therefore, we urge that potential passengers have arrived at the airport 3-4 hours before the scheduled departure,” said PT Angkasa Pura II Director of Operations and Services. (Persero) Muhamad Wasid in press release, Saturday (09/05/2020).
He said that the procedure was established to guarantee compliance with the terms and conditions in SE No. 4/2020.

This new procedure is also carried out at all airports managed by the company, adjusting the situation and ground conditions.
“At Indonesia’s busiest airport, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport, new procedures for passengers on domestic flights have also been implemented during the prohibited period Eid al-Fitr 1441 H,” he said.
Several new procedures at Soekarno-Hatta Airport, including departure service points, are only available at 2 points, namely Terminal 2 – Gate 4 and Terminal 3 – Gate 3.
“At each point is the Covid-19 Management Acceleration Control Post, which is part of the Covid-19 Management Acceleration Task Force,” he said.
Second, at the position, the prospective passenger must show travel documents, such as airline tickets, identification, free covid-19 certificate, travel certificate and other documents that must be fulfilled in accordance with SE No. 4/2020 .
Third, potential aircraft passengers must complete a health alert card (Health Alert Card / HAC) and an epidemiological investigation form provided by KKP staff.
Fourth, if all files are complete and the HAC and epidemiology forms have been completed, the prospective passenger proceeds to the second examination table.
At the examination table, KKP staff rechecked all files, as well as HAC and epidemiological investigation forms. After being declared complete, prospective passengers will receive a letter of authorization from KKP staff.
Fifth, armed with a letter. office and all the files, the possible passengers go to the counter check in to obtain a boarding pass.
Sixth, after the check-in counter, the passenger goes to security checkpoint 2. In this SCP 2, aviation security personnel will verify the authorization letter that the potential passenger of the plane has, the boarding pass and self-identification.
The passenger then heads to the departure lounge.
“This procedure is also applied at other airports managed by PT Angkasa Pura II, so that certain conditions can be met,” said Muhamad Wasid.
Previously reported, scheduled domestic route commercial flights were once again allowed to operate carrying passengers since May 7, 2020.
In line with the opening of the flight to overcome this COVID-19, the PT Angkasa Pura II airports established a new procedure for the departure of passengers.
