Daghestan –
Khabib Nurmagomedov again made statements to those he considered the “enemies of Islam”. The former UFC fighter managed to get out on social media.
This time, Khabib was referring to those who were desperate to draw the prophet through cartoons. The Dagestani fighter in fact criticized the attitude of French President Emmanuele Macron, who was seen as having insulted Islam regarding the case of the beheading of a teacher in France after drawing the prophet.
In his Instagram upload, Khabib admitted that he hurt Muslims. He even said that the act of drawing the prophet was an act of defiance of God.

“Do you really believe, in this way, that you can put out the light of God, that He has promised to end its spread in his beautiful book?”
“They not only insulted the feelings of the believing Muslims, but they also defied Almighty God, who promised to protect his messenger from the attacks of fools.”
“Yes, they are doing what they do and their business is on the side of Allah. We will just say that you absolutely cannot hurt Muhammad, and the blessed memory of him is in the hearts of fifteen hundred million people,” Khabib explained.
Earlier, Khabib also showed a photo of Macron being trampled by a shoe, shortly after the French president was found to have offended Islam. Macron is seen as defending the caricature of the prophet and has said that Islam created a culture that rejects French values, customs and laws.
