Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –

All Indonesia Student Executive Board Alliance (GOOD YES) will again protest against all the law The Job Creation Law (UU Cipta Kerja), in front of the Presidential Palace in Jakarta, tomorrow Friday (10/16).

BEM SI Media Alliance coordinator Andi Khiyarullah stated that the students would continue to urge President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) to issue a Government Regulation instead of the law (Perppu) to cancel the Employment Creation Law.

“The plan to go to the Palace, the estimate of the masses, will add to yesterday’s (action). We have the data at 6,000 (people),” Andi said when contacted by CNNIndonesia.com on Thursday (10/15 ).

Andi said his party had also notified security forces about the action plan two days ago. According to him, the masses would begin to arrive after noon.

“Our plan is to get ready in the morning, possibly starting at noon, after Friday,” he said.

In addition, Andi said that her party had prepared several creative actions to get ahead of those who tried to ride. With this creative action it is hoped that the parts that unleash the chaos will be seen.

“We convey our aspirations as best we can. Hopefully friends of the media can also see on the ground who seems to have started the chaos,” he said.

Tomorrow’s Student Action is the continuation of a wave of community protests that, since last October 6, rejected the Omnibus Employment Law. Apart from the student groups, the action has also been carried out by workers from workers to students.

The demonstrations were not only held in Jakarta, but also in various areas such as Medan, Bekasi, Bandung, Surabaya and Makassar. Not a few actions took to the streets to reject the Omnibus Law in several of these areas ended in chaos.

Based on data from the National Police, there were 5,198 people arrested during the protest against the Omnibus Law in various regions. Of that number, 167 people were identified as suspects. A total of 71 suspects were not detained due to the threat of sentences of less than five years in prison.
