KOMPAS.com – The KPU of South Kalimantan (Kalsel) has determined the results of the recapitulation which establishes that the Sahbirin-Muhidin pair of candidates for governor is superior to Denny Indrayana-Difriadi Darjat.
Denny Indrayana rejected the results of the KPU recap.
This is because he believes that there are a number of frauds and violations in the South Kalimantan regional electoral process.

Non-final call
Denny said that even though the vote counting stage had been completed, a process was still underway through legal channels.
He admitted that he would file a claim with the Court.
“At this stage it is not final, because there are still stages in the Constitutional Court that we are doing,” Denny said when confirmed, on Friday night (12/18/2020).
Denny claims to have evidence of fraud until his voice erodes.
“And we believe that with the evidence we have and the arguments that we will pass on, God willing, we will win the main regional election in South Kalimantan,” he said.

Denny also hired several famous attorneys to prosecute a lawsuit in court.
There are former leaders of the Commission for the Eradication of Corruption, Bambang Widjojanto and several other figures.
They are currently coordinating and preparing materials for the electoral demand.
“Eventually, all of this will materialize in the Constitutional Court. The lawyers who confirm me are Bambang Widjojanto and his friends and there is also a former KPK spokesman,” he explained.

Touch the beginning of the fair overflow
Denny said that the principles of direct, general, free, secret, honest and fair elections were not implemented in South Kalimantan Pilgub.
According to him, fraud has occurred since the beginning of the process.
“We reject the stipulation, because basically it should be done honestly and fairly,” he said.
“This proves that the principles of an honest and fair bypass election have not been met,” Denny said.

The difference in votes is small
The results of the South Kalimantan KPU recap showed that the Sahbirin-Muhidin candidate pair was slightly superior to Denny-Difri.
Sahbirin, which was led by a coalition of Golkar, PAN, PDIP, Nasdem, PKB, PKS, PKPI, Perindo, PSI and PBB, received 851,851 votes or 50.24 percent.
Meanwhile, Denny-Difri, who was promoted by the Gerindra, PPP, Democrat and Berkarya parties, received 843,695 votes or 49.76 percent.
According to the recap of votes, the Sahbirin-Muhidin couple excelled in five districts. Meanwhile, Denny-Difri excels in eight city districts.
“13 regencies and cities have been completed, so we have also determined the vote count at the provincial level,” said South Kalimantan KPU chief Sarmuji after a plenary meeting on Friday evening.
He invited the pairs of candidates who did not accept the results of the Plenary to file a claim with the Constitutional Court.
