KOMPAS.com – The government provided various aid to the community during the Covid-19 pandemic.
One of them is direct cash assistance (BLT) from the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (Kemenkop).
BLT or Productive Banpres worth Rs 2.4 million was delivered to small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia.
The aid was extended again until the end of November 2020.
The Finance deputy of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, Hanung Harimba Rachman, said that the registration to obtain BLT UMKM is still open.
“It is still (open). This morning the BPUM (Banpres Productive Microenterprises) has joined (a total) 12 million recipients. In this way the registration time is extended until the end of November 2020,” he said Kompas.com, Friday (10/16/2020).

What are the requirements to obtain BPUM?
The following are the conditions that must be considered to obtain BLT UMKM:
- Owning a micro-scale business
- WNI
- No employees of ASN (State Civil Apparatus), TNI / POLRI, BUMN / BUMD
- Currently has no loans in banks and People’s Business Credit (KUR)
Other requirements, as cited on the page Kemenkop, for micro-enterprise actors whose business address is different from the home address as indicated in the KTP, they can attach a Business Certificate (SKU).
How to get it?
Hanung explained that people who meet these requirements can write or call the regional offices of the Cooperative and UMKM.
“The way is to write or call the office that manages the cooperatives and UMKM so that they can be proposed as possible beneficiaries of BPUM. The service will verify and propose it to the Ministry of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises, ”said Hanung.
In addition, it can be proposed for:
- Cooperatives legalized as legal entities
- Ministry / institution
- Banking and financial companies registered with the OJK.
Applicants can complete the proposed data by meeting the following requirements:

- Full name
- Residential address (according to KTP)
- Deal
- Phone number.

Assistance will subsequently be distributed to recipients via the respective account numbers directly and not in stages.
If the beneficiary does not have an account number, it will be created at the time of disbursement by the channel bank (BRI, BNI and Bank Syariah Mandiri).
The aid is not a loan or credit, but a grant. So that the recipient is not charged any fees in the distribution process.
As reported Kompas.comOn September 30, 2020, Cooperatives and SMEs Minister Teten Masduki said that, as of September 21, BLT UMKM’s absorption had only reached 64.5 percent.

The quota is increased to another 3 million beneficiaries, so the total will be 12 million beneficiaries.
This program began on August 24, 2020. BPUM is delivered to micro-business actors affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.
