FAJAR.CO.ID, JAKARTA – Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Pol Fadil Imran immediately threatened residents who failed to abide by health protocol rules, including supporters of Habib Rizieq Shihab (HRS) .

The newly appointed Chief of Regional Police will not hesitate to act firmly against those who organize events that involve many people.

“We all know that Jakarta is not yet safe from the Covid-19 pandemic. That is why we will take strong action against anyone who violates health protocols,” said Inspector General Fadil Imran at Polda Metro Jaya, South Jakarta, on Friday ( 11/20/2020).

This two-star general also supported Pangdam Jaya’s move to remove billboards bearing the image of Habib Rizieq Shihab.

Pangdam Jaya’s policy to regulate billboards is a rule that has been regulated by law.

“We support what Pangdam Jaya is doing because the goal is definitely good for this country,” he said.

Not only that, Imran also stressed that his party would make efforts to prevent crowds from occurring.

“We will intervene all the measures taken by the crowd in Jakarta from an early age,” he said.

It is known that Inspector General Nana and Inspector General Rudy were removed from their positions as Kapolda Metro Jaya and Kapolda Jabar because they were deemed negligent in applying the Covid-19 health protocol.

The National Police did not specify the cause of the dismissal of the two two-star generals. However, it was allegedly due to the crowds that arose as a result of the events of the leader of the Front of Islamic Defenders (FPI) Rizieq Shihab in Jakarta and West Java.
