KOMPAS.com – Ruangguru reportedly resigned as a digital platform in the Pre-Employment Card program.
When confirmed, Ruangguru’s head of corporate communications, Anggini Setiawan, confirmed the information.
“That’s right (in reverse of the Working Card digital platform),” Anggini said when contacted Kompas.com, Friday (9/4/2020) night.
His party also revealed a number of reasons related to Ruangguru’s resignation as one of the digital platforms in the Pre-Work Card program.

General business decision
Ruangguru’s resignation, Anggini said, was a business decision made after going through a thorough thought process.
Since the launch of the fourth wave of the Employment Card Program, Anggini continued, skills academy Ruangguru has changed its focus only as a Pre-Employment Card training institution.
“We hope that our choice to shift focus only as a training institution will further enhance the quality of our services for all users, including participants of the Pre-Employment Card Program,” Anggini said.

“To realize this vision, a strategic step that must be taken is to focus on allocating available resources to maintain and improve the quality standards of education and training offered, and produce new consumer-oriented innovations,” he added.
Participants of the pre-employment card can still access training classes skills academy in the official partner of the Pre-Work Card digital platform.

Last August, Ruangguru announced that it would donate all its income as an official partner of the digital platform Pre-Work Card Program, during batches 1-3.
“It will be donated to the country to help manage Covid-19,” Anggini said.

Only as a training institution
Confirmed separately, the Head of Communication of the Executive Directorate of the Pre-Employment Card, Louisa Tuhatu, also confirmed the withdrawal of the staff room from the digital platform on the Pre-Employment Card.
“That’s right, Ruangguru resigned. Currently, they (Ruangguru) are registered only as a training institution,” Louisa said when contacted the same day.
With the retirement of Ruangguru, now the partners of the digital platform on the Prakerja Card only remain seven institutions.
These are Bukalapak, MauBelajarApa, Pintaria, Sekolah.mu, Tokopedia, Pijar Mahir and the Labor Information System (Sisnaker).

Conditions and how to register
The requirements for participants who can register a pre-employment card are Indonesian citizens (WNI) over 18 years of age.
Additionally, participants are not currently attending formal education.
Participants who wish to register for the preliminary work program of lot 7 can access the official Prakerja website: www.prakerja.go.id.

Here’s how to register the pre-employment cards for lot 7:
- After accessing the official Prakerja page, enter your full name, email address and password
- Check email of the Pre-Employment Card and follow the email account confirmation instructions. After that, go back to the previous job site.
- Login to the account with the email address and password you just created
- Enter your KTP number and date of birth, then click “Next”
- Fill in your personal details on the filling form (full name, email address, residential address, home address, education, employment status, photo ID and selfie photo with KTP), then click “Next”
- Enter the phone number and the OTP code sent by SMS.
- Take the motivation test for 1 minute. Please wait for the email notification after the test is complete.
- If you received an email notification, please return to the site and join the registration wave.

Incentive
Participants who do pre-work in the final stage after completing the training will receive incentives.
The incentives that the participants will receive in addition to the training balance are also two types of incentives, namely an incentive of Rs 600,000 to be given every month, for 4 months, there is also a survey incentive worth Rs 50,000 and there will be 3 surveys.
To earn incentives, participants must complete pre-employment training as evidenced by receipt of a certificate.

The pre-employment card program will still take a few more waves.
As previously reported, if you consistently open the registry with a quota of 800,000 people for each batch, the goal of 5.6 million participants in the Pre-Work Card program will be achieved with four more sign-up waves.
So far, there have been 3.08 million people who have qualified as participants in the Pre-Employment Card program.
