UNGARAN, KOMPAS.com – The motive for the murder of DF (17), a Demak Regency resident at a hotel in Bandungan, Semarang Regency, was finally revealed.
The assailant, Dicky Ramandany (19), a resident of Tandes, Surabaya city, East Java, died because he was injured and wanted to control the victim’s property.
“In addition, the perpetrator also admitted that he was hurt because the victim often made fun of him. He said that Dicky wanted to be invited to play or go with the victim if they gave him money,” said Semarang Police Chief AKBP, Ari Wibowo, on Wednesday (11/18/2020) when the case took place. Ari said the victim died due to shortness of breath after being suffocated by the perpetrator.
“There were three blunt force injuries on the head of the victim, this was due to the collision of the cots. Apart from that, he was also gagged, strangled and pressed on the chest. The victim had difficulty breathing. The murder was planned.” , said.
After the murder, Dicky sold the victim’s Honda Beat H 3725 AEE to Ahmad Muharya for 2 million rupees and a Lenovo cell phone for 125,000 rupees to Lukman Hakim.
“For these two criminals, they are subject to article 480 of the Penal Code. This is the first time that they have become debt collectors,” Ari said.

The suspect fled to Surabaya after selling the victim’s motorcycle.
“The suspect was arrested at his home in Surabaya. He was entrusted to Demak at the home of his parents’ friends,” Ari said.
Regarding the relationship between the victim and the suspect, Ari said the two were close friends.
“Living in an environment, getting to know each other closely for two weeks through social networks. I have met before,” he explained.
As is known, DF (17), a resident of Demak Regency, was found dead at Hotel Frieda, Bandungan, Semarang Regency on Sunday (11/15/2020) in room J-1.
The discovery of the woman’s body was caused by the suspicion of a hotel employee when he verified that the parked motorcycle did not coincide with the number of rented rooms, on Saturday (11/14/2020) around 6:00 p.m. WIB.
The next day, Sunday (11/15/2020) at 10:00 AM, the employee reported that the J-1 guest had not left the room.
Then at 12 noon the employee contacted Bandungan police to verify and a woman was found to have died.
