Countryside –
Rangga’s father, Fadly, said that his ex-wife, DA (28), was 3 months pregnant when the rape by Samsul Bahri (41) occurred. Samsul is the man who killed Rangga (9) while preventing her mother from being raped.
“She is in a position that she is pregnant again, she can receive such a treatment, 3 months pregnant,” Fadly said at her Medan residence on Monday (10/19/2020)
Fadly said that DA had remarried and was living in Aceh after divorcing him about 2 years ago. Rangga, he said, had only been brought to Aceh for a week to live and study there.
Fadly admitted that he couldn’t help but think that Samsul might kill Rangga’s life and rape DA. In fact, he said, DA and Rangga were friendly with Samsul, who was their own neighbor.
“I can’t stop thinking. If you say it’s wild, wild. I can’t say it anymore I see, “he said.
Although sad to lose his son, Fadly admits that he is still proud that Rangga died defending his mother. Fadly said that Rangga’s departure would not be in vain.
“It’s like that with his mother, as well as with his younger siblings. If someone harasses him, he immediately moves on,” he said.
The incident that took Rangga’s life occurred on Saturday (10/10) morning. Samsul Bahri allegedly broke into the house occupied by Rangga and DA by pulling on the door.
DA, surprised that his body was touched, woke up. Rangga, who slept nearby, also woke up and screamed to prevent her mother from being raped.
Samsul then stabbed and stabbed Rangga to death. After that, Samsul allegedly dragged and raped DA repeatedly outside the house.
DA managed to escape after untying his hands. Samsul then threw Rangga’s body into the river.
The police who received the report arrested and named Samsul as a suspect. More recently, Samsul was found dead in a holding cell after complaining of its tightness.
