Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia – The president of the United States (USA) Donald Trump does not seem to fully recognize the victory of his rival Joe Biden. Even in his tweet, Trump admitted that there would be a massive protest in Washington DC on January 6, 2021.
On Twitter @realDonaldTrump, he revealed a 36-page report posted by his adviser Peter Navarro. The report cited evidence of presidential electoral fraud that could invalidate his defeat.
“Peter Navarro published 36 pages of report on electoral fraud … Very good report,” he tweeted on Monday (12/21/2020).
“It is statistically impossible to lose the 2020 presidential election. The big protests will take place in DC on January 6. (I) will be there, it will be crazy.”
Trump also insisted that Biden did not win the election. According to the former businessman, Biden lost in six states.
“Then they threw in hundreds of thousands on each vote and got caught. Now Republican politicians (Trump’s party) have to fight to keep their huge profits from being stolen. Don’t be silly!” emphasized again.
He also accused the possibility of China ruining the presidential elections. while United States Secretary of State Mike Pompeo and Acting United States Secretary of Defense John Ratcliffe posted on Twitter.
“Now it’s clear that I won big, which makes it even more embarrassing for the United States,” he said on Twitter hours later.
“The biggest electoral fraud in the history of the state,” he wrote in capital letters. Even so, Trump’s taunts were marked by Twitter. Social networks wrote “claims of electoral problems.”
Previously, on December 14, Joe Biden became president-elect of the United States. The Electoral College inaugurated its victory over Donald Trump.
The deciding vote came from the state of California, which cast 55 votes. This is legitimate to make Biden cross the threshold of 270 votes to 302.
The electoral vote is usually just a formality, which takes place one month after the vote. But Trump’s legal and legislative efforts, unprecedented in US history, to reverse the election results have made the process even more important.
Trump and his team have filed dozens of lawsuits since November 3, the day the vote took place. He asked the federal and state courts to cancel the election results based on allegations of fraud.
Yet repeatedly, Trump’s efforts failed. This led him to change tactics by pressuring Republican lawmakers to intervene in individual elections, although so far it has not produced results.
