The large explosion that injured several people in downtown Nashville, United States, remains an enigma, because investigators suspect that the explosion came from a suicide bombing linked to a 63-year-old man.
Reported by AFP, on Sunday (12/27/2020), Police searched a house in the Nashville area, United States (USA) on Saturday (12/26/2020).
The operation in Antioquia came when the US media reported that a 63-year-old “interested person” had been identified in connection with the explosion. It was coming from a parked motorhome, which issued a warning minutes before it exploded.
Several US media outlets reported Saturday night that the attacker was likely killed in the blast. Even so, it remains a question mark because this accusation has not been officially confirmed by the authorities.
Police said the blast was “an intentional act,” but the motive remains unclear and FBI behavior analysts are involved in the investigation.
“The damage is shocking and it’s a miracle no one died,” Tennessee Governor Bill Lee said on Twitter Saturday.
Media reports said neighbors had previously seen a mobile home outside the residence that was being looted by authorities Saturday, and it appeared to be similar to the one that exploded in Nashville.
