PTPN VIII admits sending a declaration to the empty land at Rizieq Islamic boarding school

PT Perkebunan Nusantara (PTPN) VIII acknowledged having sent a summons against the Markaz Agrocultural Islamic Boarding School belonging to FPI leaders Rizieq Shihab in Megamendung, Bogor, West Java to immediately vacate the land.

“The process has been long and many years,” Venny said.

PTPN VIII corporate secretary Naning DT also confirmed the summons against FPI Sharia Markaz in Megamendung.

“We hereby inform you that PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII has drawn up a notification letter to all occupants in the Gunung Mas plantation area, Puncak, Bogor Regency; and Markaz Syariah belonging to the FPI management is in fact in our legal area, “he said in a written statement.

Earlier, a letter was sent with the director of PTPN VIII to the Islamic boarding school Megamendung Markaz Syariah for it to be canceled immediately. Cover letter with number SB / 11/6131 / XII / 2020 dated December 18, 2020.

The letter stated that the land occupied by the pesantren by the Megamendung Islamic Agrocultural Internship Foundation was an asset belonging to PT Perkebunan Nusantara VIII according to HGU certificate No. 299 of July 4, 2008.

The letter said that the establishment of pesantren on the property belonging to PTPN VIII was a form of embezzlement of real property.

Through this letter, PTPN VIII advised pesantren management to hand over the land to PTPN VIII no later than 7 business days after receiving the letter.

“He did not follow up, so we will inform the police in this case, the West Java Police,” the letter wrote.
