KOMPAS.com – Police continue to investigate the case of the death of a commercial sex worker (PSK) with the initials DP, a resident of Solo, Central Java, at a hotel in Depok, Sleman, Yogyakarta Special Region (DIY), on Sunday (13 / 9/2020).

According to the DP’s husband’s confession to the police, he had forbidden his wife to work as a prostitute.

“Actually, this husband does not allow his wife to do that. But if he is reminded (his wife) is asking for a divorce,” West Depok Police Chief of Criminal Investigation Iptu Isnaini said when he met with reporters. on Tuesday (9/15/2020).

As previously reported, when the incident occurred, DP’s husband was in a different room at the hotel.

He also participated in the arrest of the man who was a client of his wife.

Additionally, from the results of the interim inspection, DP was suspected of serving 6 clients on that fateful day.

The last man in the room with the DP was AP, a resident of Purworejo, Central Java.

The AP has been identified as a suspect in negligence and is suspected of stealing two of the victim’s cell phones.

In addition to AP, the police also named DP’s husband as a suspect in the case.

“We have determined the suspect in relation to the alleged criminal act of theft of two cell phones belonging to the victim that was controlled by the perpetrator. Including his negligence that caused the death of another person,” he explained.

As is known, the AP allegedly did not help the victim during a seizure and only covered the victim’s face so that her voice could not be heard from outside.

“It should have helped, but instead covered the victim’s shirt, so his voice couldn’t be heard outside the room,” he explained.

No signs of violence

Meanwhile, from the autopsy results, the police found no signs of violence on the victim’s body.

Police also found no evidence that the victim had a history of serious illness.

“Is there some other cause, like poisoning or something, are you still waiting for the lab results? So we don’t have the courage to determine if this is a crime of murder or attempted murder,” he said.
