The provincial government of DKI Jakarta has decided to extend the transitional period of large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) for 14 days again. However, if the increase in COVID-19 cases becomes more alarming, the transitional PSBB will be terminated.

In this decision, if there is no significant increase in cases during the extension of this Temporary PSBB, a 14-day extension will be carried out. However, if there is a significant increase in cases, the implementation of this PSBB transition period can be stopped.
The provincial government of DKI Jakarta revealed that the extension of the transition period of the PSBB was carried out because the transmission of COVID-19 in DKI Jakarta was relatively steep.
