KOMPAS.com – The Indonesian U19 team has played its first test match in the friendly tournament started by the Croatian Football Federation (NHS).

In that first match, Garuda Muda’s squad faced Bulgaria at Igraliste Stadium, NK Polet, Croatia on Saturday (5/9/2020) WIB night.

There was a player from Bulgaria who stole the show in the match, namely Martin Petkov.

Martin Petkov came into the limelight after scoring twice against the Indonesian under-19 team led by Muhammad Adi Satryo.

Currently, Martin Petkov has made 16 appearances and one goal for the team that collected 26 Bulgarian League trophies.

One of his favorites is the autobiography of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, a veteran Swedish striker who now plays for AC Milan.

“I like to read autobiographies. Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s work is my favorite, because he is my idol,” said Martin Petkov.
