KOMPAS.com – The names Kelana Noah Mahesa and Luah Fynn Jeremy Mahesa stole the attention of Indonesian soccer fans ahead of the Indonesian Under-19 team’s test match against Hajduk Split on Tuesday (10/20/2020).
Before playing the match against Hajduk Split, Shin Tae-yong, as the coach of the U19 national team, invited the Indonesian-German brothers to join the following entertainment center (TC) Young Garuda in Croatia.
Kelana Mahesa and Luah Mahesa have been training with Witan Sulaeman et al since Monday (10/19/2020).
Even though he had just joined, Shin Tae-yong dared to face Kelana and Luah in the match against Hajduk Split.
Kelana started the game that ended 4-0 for the victory of the Indonesian U19 national team, while Luah was deployed in the 64th minute to replace Irfan Jauhari.

Kelana and Luah are currently working in the German League with the Bonner SC club.
The club, which is based at the Sportpark Nord Stadium, Bonn, competes in the Regionalliga West or the fourth tier of the German League.
Kelana Mahesa, who was born on January 30, 2001, is currently a member of the Bonner SC core team. The 182cm tall player previously played for youth team FC Koeln and Viktoria Koeln.
Last August, along with Luah, Kelana participated in a trial in Persela Lamongan. However, they have not mated with Persela and later returned to Germany.
In 2020, Kelana was promoted to the Bonner SC core team.

Kelana is a versatile midfielder. You can play as an offensive midfielder or a defensive midfielder.
In the test match against Hajduk Split, Shin Tae-yong played Kelana as Garuda Muda’s midfield double lynchpin with Beckham Putra Nugraha.
Meanwhile, Luah Fynn Jeremy Mahesa, who is Kelana’s younger brother, is currently listed as a Bonner SC U19 player. Previously, he played for DJK Sudwest Koeln.
Like his sister, Luah, who was born on July 30, 2002, he also holds the position of midfielder.
After the test match against Hajduk Split, Shin Tae-yong mentioned that Kelana Mahesa and Luah Mahesa showed quite a good game.

“The players showed great performance in today’s match,” Shin Tae-yong said on the official PSSI website.
“For the two new players, Kelana Mahesa and Luah Mahesa, I think they play quite well, especially Kelana,” praised Shin Tae-yong.
With the presence of Kelana Mahesa and Luah Mahesa, there are now six players from the Indonesian under-19 national team grazing in Europe.
Previously, the U-19 team featured Jack Brown (Lincoln City FC U18), Elkan Baggott (Ipswich Town U18), Witan Sulaeman (FK Radnik Surdulica) and Khairul Zakiri (Gymnastica Cueta).
