Jakarta, CNN Indonesia –
Quarrel between groups occurred in the Jagakarsa area, South Jakarta, on Monday (8/2) afternoon. Related to this fight, 13 people involved were insured by the match police.
Kasat Reskrim, South Jakarta Metropolitan Police AKBP Jimmy Christian Samma said the clashes between groups were sparked by territorial disputes.
“This is a land problem in Cipedak, a PP organization [Pemuda Pancasila] and society against a group of people supposedly from the Ambon community, “Jimmy told reporters on Monday (2/8).
Jimmy said that to prevent the fight from happening again, his party arrested 13 people and took them to the South Jakarta Metropolitan Police.
However, Jimmy said, no evidence or criminal tools were confiscated from the dozens of people detained.
“The insured by 13 people: PP 3 people, Ambon children 10 people,” he said.
Additionally, Jimmy said his party had asked related parties not to fight each other. This is because the land dispute case that triggered the fight is still being processed in court.
“We have urged ourselves not to dispute because land disputes are still being processed in court,” Jimmy said.
