The Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB) said there is a possibility of a tsunami off the southern coast of Java up to 20 meters. A geologist from Sepuluh Nopember Institute of Technology (ITS) Surabaya, Dr. Amien Widodo, did not deny that there was a possibility of a major earthquake in southern Java.
