JAKARTA – DPR Commission I Member Major General TNI (ret) Tubagus Hasanuddin welcomed the swift action of the police in arresting four suspects of beating two TNI soldiers in Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, on Friday ( 10/30/2020).

The four perpetrators who are members of the large motorcycle club Harley Owners Group (HOG), must remain in a holding cell because they are arrogant on the road while in a convoy.
“Arrogance is a shameful character, especially on the road. Anyone who carries out beatings or acts of violence is a criminal act that must be prosecuted legally,” Hasanuddin said when contacted by journalists on Sunday (1/11/2020) .

The former two-star general cautioned that motorcycle riders should continue to promote courtesy on the road and continue to pay attention to the public interest. Because the road is public property and is used in the public interest.
“If the members of the moge group who actually come from the upper middle class act arrogantly, what is the difference with a motorcycle gang. Be a good user of the road,” he said.
