A 21-year-old samurai named Nakano Takeko died after an epic battle with a large-bladed polearm against enemy forces.

Nakano was born into a Samurai family that possessed great military skills. They showed loyalty to the ruling Tokugawa shogunate.

Nakano, who was an expert in fighting, was fearless on the battlefield. He was able to kill 172 Empire soldiers, Samurai Land reported.
