“The police remain on guard, ensuring the delivery of the opinions that are available today,” Argo said.

Polda Metro Head of Public Relations Jaya Kombes Yusri Yunus said up to 10,587 members of the joint TNI and Polri staff were deployed to secure the rally.

In addition, Yusri said, there were 10,000 reserve personnel on standby at Monas and the DPR building.

On the other hand, the police also foresee a rotation of rioters at the end of the demonstration.

Because, looking at the demo from some time ago, at the end of the demo there was always a mass of rioters who then came in and caused a riot.

“Then, those who are vulnerable when they are about to finish there will be a change of route, these changes of route are people who have the intention of mutiny,” Yusri said in Polda Metro Jaya, on Tuesday (10/20).
