YAKARTA, KOMPAS TV – Two Police Brigadier (Bripda) Hery Fransiscu and Bripda Muhammad Irvan Fadhilah, two police officers from the Metro Jaya Regional Police were beaten while trying to disperse a crowd of residents who violated Large Scale Social Restriction (PSBB).

As a result, the two policemen were injured and transferred to the hospital. In fact, Bripda Hery Fransiscus suffered a broken jaw.

This is known based on the results of the computed tomography. Therefore, Bripda Hery had to be hospitalized. While Bripda Muhammad Irvan Fadhilah, who suffered minor injuries, was enough to undergo outpatient treatment.

Metro Jaya police chief of public relations, chief commissioner Pol Yusri Yunus, said the two victims were beaten by two men who were part of a group of youths who attempted to escape when the police dispersed.

The collision event began with a large-scale patrol group between the Jaya Metro Regional Police and the South Jakarta Police on Saturday (5/9/2020), early in the morning.

When officers passed the Duta Niaga Cilandak Metro in southern Jakarta, there was a group of young motorcycles still sitting on the side of the road.
